Hi there I'm Bryce Thompson and this is my Media Autobiography. In this autobiography I will be talking about me and relationship with the different types of mass media that we will cover in class. The different types of mass media are books, newspapers, magazines, movies, audio, radio, television, and internet. These different types of  mass media all played a significant role in my life and without all this media I really don't know where I would be in life. But there was 1 mass media that I didn't really use at all and that was newspapers and I'll explain why.

 Although newspapers played a big part in society I never was really fond of them. When I was a little kid and I would wake up in the morning I would always see my Grandfather reading a newspaper and drinking a cup of coffee. I would kinda look at it with him too, but the only thing really interesting to me was the funny comic strips so I found the rest of it really boring. I also feel like newspapers aren't that popular and relevant like it used to be.

  Next the mass media I would like to talk about is Magazines. Unlike newspapers, people actually read magazines. My whole entire life I've always read magazines. When i was in elementary school I would always read those teen Disney channel magazines. Now I would pretty much just read like Ebony and Jet, so pretty much all the African American magazines. My Mom would always but them so I would just read them when she gets it. I also like to read people magazine and stuff like that.

  The next two types of mass media are books and movies. Books and movies are a big part in my life. My favorite books of all time would be all of the Harry Potter series. And my favorite movies of all time would have to be Harry Potter too. The books and movies are just amazing. The next types of mass media are Audio and Radio. These two types of media go hand in hand. Audio is used pretty much everywhere if you want to here something like music and the radio is what you listen in the car to hear music.So these are also things I use in my life.

  The last two types of media that I will be discussing is Television and the Internet. I pretty much watch T,V all the time and my favorite show is New Girl. I also use the internet for twitter and stuff like that. In the future I would like a career in the media department. I would like to be a news reporter and my major is actually Journalism.
